To determine the level of radon gas inside the structure which is the leading cause of lung cancer to nonsmokers. Test are performed with a continuous radon monitor which takes readings every hour for a 48-hour minimum time period.

This is when the inspector locates and takes a sample of mold-like substances either inside the structure or in the crawlspace that are sent off and analyzed by a professional laboratory. The test results will identify the types of debris found as well as their symptoms.
