This country musical stars nineteen-year-old Hank Williams Jr., who plays Grady, a prideful, stubborn farm boy with musical talents. Grady’s uncle (Ed Begley) discourages the young singer’s creative abilities. When the family falls on desperate times, Grady turns to his guitar to support the farm.
