Secondary electrical ground paths are often broken when home owners have water softners installed. Any time copper or galvinized water pipes are severed into to allow this installation, a grounding strap should be added.

In 2004 Veo Moore became one of Tennessee’s first licensed home inspectors. Having inspected thousands of homes in his career, Veo is one of middle Tennessee’s most sought after home inspectors. Not only is Veo a great home inspector but also fully understands how a house fits together. Relying on his extensive background as a handyman and home repair specialist, Veo’s experience can help you understand which findings should have priority and which items are nominal. Licensed in both Tennessee and Mississippi, Veo received his certification from The American Home Inspectors Training Institute and the Allied Business Schools for Home Inspectors. Veo became a proud member of the UltraSound team in 2016 after spending more than a decade in his home inspection and handyman business. Happily married for 17 years, Veo is a strong family man and a lover of all things “Ole Miss.”
Veo did a stellar job! He was friendly, patient, clear and concise. The report was easy to understand and well put together. I especially liked the summery report that was provided alongside the full report. We would definitely recommend your services to anyone who asks! Thanks for helping us get one step closer to moving into our new home.

Kimpy, co-owner of UltraSound and Bill’s better half has been involved in UltraSound since day one. She spends most of her time directing traffic, managing the office, and mingling with hundreds of real estate agents that are now part of our family.
Prior to UltraSound, she spent most of her early carrier in the title escrow business. In 2004, she became a real estate agent and did that part time while helping Bill grow UltraSound.
In her spare time Kimpy enjoys shopping, decorating, and spending time with her family and friends.
Bill & his wife Kimpy started UltraSound Home Inspections in 2004. Prior to UltraSound, Bill began his passion for carpentry at an early age of 12 when he built his own tree house on the family farm. It consisted of an upstairs loft, electrical outlets, lights, and a wraparound porch with crank out windows. He was only 13 when he got his first summer job working in residential construction.
At 16, he landed a job in commercial construction where he worked summer vacations until he finished school. After college, Bill worked in engineering for Murray Ohio Mfg. but kept involved in construction on the side building houses, remodeling, and starting his own cabinet business. After a twenty plus year career at Murray, he returned to his passion – residential construction.
Bill has many hobbies which include, fishing, snow skiing, remote control airplanes, scuba diving, restoring classic Mustangs, building/remodeling homes, and spending time with his family and grand kids.
