Improper HVAC Clearance

Per the manufacture of heat pumps and cooling condensers, the units require a minimum clearance of 3′ to properly dissipate the air so the systems can perform as designed. Often times home owners plant bushes or shrubs around the units to hide them from view. During a home inspection, Ultra Sound Home Inspections always recommend these these items be trimmed or removed for maximum heating and cooling efficiency.
